In my previous post, I mentioned that I have gotten the car used. 90k mileage is rather high when I gotten it in 2015.  Driving the car was really different compared to the satria neo I had. Power delivered to the two front wheels when I needed it instantaneously.

On my first trip with the car with the family to Port Dickson, it then occurred. The infamous check engine light lit up. It was when we were about the leave for home. It was still around 100km away. The feeling was rather tense as I would like to reach home without stalling. Drove all the way home and took it to the Service centre. Took them one day to resolve the issue. Charcoal canister was the culprit. They also told me about my Aircon belt which was also worn. So I opt to change that as well. Cost was ard rm1.8k.

The only stressful part about all this was the service centres competent about Vw cars. I had to leave the car for one day for such minor repairs. Even if u made an appointment, it doesn’t matter, they take in all cars. Sort of a defeat purpose of making an appointment.

Servicing the car was around rm700-rm1000. This can be done cheaper from outside Vw Audi specialist. An oil change would cost ard rm400 outside.
